January 3, Tuesday – At Sea

Today is the first day that we have had rough seas.  We are in Drakes Passage as we head out from Antarctica to the Falkland Islands.  Fortunately it wasn’t too terrible although they did close the walking deck on deck 3.  During lunch we had to keep grabbing salt shakers and other items on the table to keep them from sliding off onto the floor.

Otherwise, it was a relaxing day working on pictures, taking in presentations and being lazy.
